Ever since
I was a little girl I loved dancing and music, especially the Latin rhythms.
Besides the music I was always amazed by the colourful and sparkling dresses,
feathers and of course THE MAKE-UP.

A few years
ago I met this really energetic and ever cheerful girl, Fruzsi who is a member
of the wonderful Samba Team in Budapest: Energia Positiva.
After seeing them performing in full carnival outfit I felt something was
off... sparkle and feathers deserve a grand make-up! So I offered to do their make-up
before performances and photo shoots.
Ever since
then we have spent a lot of early mornings together for several photo shoots,
just to be ready by 9:00 AM. But with these colourful girls it was never a dull
and sleepy moment. They are from very different backgrounds (lawyer moms,
graphic designers, IT project managers, psychologists etc.) but when they put
on their feathers and samba bikinis they are all queens.
Here are
some pics from our common project at the Budapest
Zoo. It was freezing that morning but these girls were heroes...and of
course dads were more interested in watching the photo shoot than feeding the
camels ;-)
